Saq Nikté and the Spirit of the Mask

In a remote Guatemalan community, 11-year-old Saq Nikté performs an old invocation that awakens Iq’, a curious and playful spirit. Entirely in the K’iche’ language, the film follows their encounter as Saq Nikté crafts a mask as an offering, bridging the worlds of the living and the spirit.
