Slaughter the wolves

In Lower Canada, around 1850, the sisters Augustine and Joséphine Wilson suffer from a rare genetic condition. They are kept secluded by their father, who is ill with tuberculosis. Upon his death, they must face a village dominated by religious superstition and fear of the devil. Hunted and perceived as she-wolves, they become the embodiment of rejection and emancipation until a mysterious fate leads them toward their liberation.
