As Los Angeles slips into an AI-driven collapse, Nate, a lonely parking enforcement officer, is given twelve minutes to escape before he joins the rest of humanity in a worldwide assimilation event that may or may not turn everyone into fertilizer. Guided by MeMe, his surprisingly sentient virtual assistant, Nate scrambles through a chaotic evacuation filled with drones, burnt boiled eggs, unexpected dance music, and increasingly strange survival advice.
