Two years deep into their relationship, a couple reach an uncomfortable fork in their interpersonal road after a drive past a cemetery brings unresolved tensions to the foreground. The third short from Toronto writer-director Carly Balestreri (PETROLIA, CAT IN THE RAIN), THE TWO YEAR RULE is a quietly haunting and uniquely resonant piece, with compelling performances from Madeline Sadai (ALTERATIONS) and Ben Petrie (HONEY BUNCH).
