Ultraman Episode 1 – Ultra Operation No. 1

The five members of the Science Special Search Party, the Japanese branch of the Paris-based International Science Police Organization, are dedicated to defending our world from external dangers. When an anomaly is spotted in the skies over Ryugamori—two glowing orbs, one red, one blue—SSSP officer Shin Hayata investigates. The blue orb, containing renegade space monster Bemular, hides out in a lake, while the red orb collides with Hayata’s VTOL jet. Suspended between life and death, Hayata encounters the orb’s pilot, a powerful alien from Nebula M78. This champion of cosmic justice, recognizing Hayata’s heroic disposition, merges with the young officer and bestows upon him the Beta Capsule, key to powers of interplanetary proportions—at least, until the Colour Timer flashes red!
