Local Sensations

Shot on black-and-white 16mm, this essay film opens a loose dialogue with Chatri Prakitnonthakan's writing on modern monuments. Moving through an arborist's walk, a glassblowing workshop, an architecture competition, a music improvisation and other spaces, it reconsiders locality, monumentality and the relationship between object and subject.
