Said Unsaid

Kojima returns home to find his chronically ill mother motionless in bed. He asks his neighbour Yokota, who has spent eight years trying to enter medical school, to check her. Yokota finds that she has died. While they wait for a doctor, his attempts at reassurance take their awkward conversation in an unexpected direction.
