The London International Animation Festival (LIAF) is an annual animation festival that was founded in 2003. It takes place at the Barbican Centre in London, typically in November and December. The festival spans over 10 days and includes a variety of events such as premieres, retrospectives, interviews with filmmakers, workshops, and a “Best of the Festival” screening.

LIAF is a year-round celebration of animation with screenings and events across the UK. The annual festival serves as a comprehensive overview of the international indie animation scene, showcasing every style, genre, and technique. The festival includes International Competition Programmes, an Abstract Animation Showcase, Animated Features, a British Animation Showcase, Retrospectives, a Music Videos Session, a Late Night Bizarre event, Masterclasses, Workshops, Special Guests, Animation Industry Events, and much more.

The festival is recognized for promoting UK talent through curated screenings at home and overseas to increase the visibility and recognition of UK animation talent. It is also a member of the Alliance of British Animation Exhibitors.
