Land

A lone figure wanders through a small, ever-shifting world in Masanobu Hiraoka's hand-drawn abstract animation. Landscapes, plants and the figure itself continually break apart and metamorphose into one another in rhythm with Aimar Molero's music and sound design. Hiraoka drew the film frame by frame, picturing the land as vast yet limited, quiet yet powerful, and home to a single lonely human being.
