Friend of a Friend

A young man is sexually assaulted by someone close to him, then subdues, punishes and befriends his attacker while confronting his own past and the ambiguities of sexuality. Blending fiction, autobiography and dream in vivid neon animation, Zachary Zezima's short examines abuse, its motives and consequences, and the dynamic between survivor and assailant.
